100mm is a truly incredible amount of rain to fall in such a short period.  I love extreme weather but this would undoubtedly create massively dangerous conditions over highly populated areas.  Really hope this doesn't come off.

What time they expecting this Ice ??

If only we could have summers like this more often 3months of heat and sunshine followed by 3months worth of rain in one night LOL

Followed by three years of snow in one night..................we can but dream!

Best guess is early hours, 3:00am to 6:00am I think looks the peak but lots of uncertainty about this one.

That could be an understatement!  Temperature still at 21c and feeling very muggy, plenty of fuel around for any storms that get here.  Could be a very loud night in store?

Barely 17C here, I've got frostbite and I wanna go back to Ibiza!

Yes, the band is getting organised quickly.  Could get very lively for those 'lucky' enough to be in the sweet spot.

Not a whiff of anything here in East Sussex! Longing for autumn proper. Would love to have proper seasons back. 17.5 c and clear sky. Any rain/ storms seem to be going wide!

Nothing here this side of sleep.. a drop of rain but no storms or lightning. Hoping to be woken up by something weathery! Looks like Basingstoke/Reading/W London got a fair wallop though.

I've been woken by distant rumbles of thunder. It's started raining :)

Woken up by a loud one, just the one though, so a bit annoyed, at least it can thunder some more to make it worth it:wallbash:

Yes thanks lassie. We moved because of Hubby's job. It's really nice here... handy as we are not far from high wycombe and we are what I would call semi rural .... lovely countryside around us :)

Semi rural is the best place to be IMO:good: Another quieter rumble, not much rain from this storm yet.
