First sea ice creeping into the northern edge of Hudson Bay now.. Seems to be earlier than the other years above.

I would also expect to see the Alps highlighted  as it has been snowing down there recently.

Big melt on the SW extent but big gains in Northern china and also some in Europe.

More gains in Europe, along with a big increase in ice towards Alaska.

Most of South Poland and Mountains in Slovakia  now covered, snowing all day yesterday there,missed my Ryanair Flight to Belfast from Krakow! Took me 5 hours to drive from Tatra Mountains 100km to airport,will have to do it again on Tuesday! Firstly annoyed but then realised that in UK and Ireland I will probably never experience something like this
