If I remember, I will post the extremes and CET averages for 1981-2010 but if you need to find them look around first week of Sept in last year's thread.

Changeable North, more settled south and possibly a better 2nd half of the month.

My guess is a slightly above average 14.5c please

The 06z GFS would have the CET close to record warm for the first third or so of the month, while the MO are going for a warm settled spell in the 2nd half of September...
