That is some serious heat.
To be fair they are used to it being at the top end of the forties.

But can you imagine what 53c must feel like.

:blink2: nope, begin to feel drained and lethargic when it gets about 21-22c so don't know how on earth those temps would make me feel....:bad: I guess!

We have 45c as a normal temperature. It gets higher but the killer is humidity.  I can just about do 49c dry heat but 40c and 90% humidity is horrid

With the temperature reaching 54c in Mitribah last week, some are saying it could be the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth.
The all-time record at Furnace Creek is apparently very questionable due to it being 100 years old, with reliability of the measurement being under scrutiny. There is no suggestion the record will be expunged, but it's searingly hot either way.

Could see some interesting weather over the Middle East in the coming week. 850 temps forecast to reach 39-41C with both GFS and ECM predicting 54C at the surface through the weekend with a huge area of 50C+. 850's are 1-2C higher than when Ahwas (Iran) and Basrah (Irag) recorded 54C a few years back.

Breaching 54C seems like the holy grail as far as reliably recorded temps go. Death Valley, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan all have maxes between 53.5C & 54.0C (defo not counting the dodgy 57C from 1913). Some of those Middle Eastern records could be under threat looking at current output.

Badrah in Iraq recorded at least 52.4C today. Death Valley recorded 53.3c earlier in the month which looks to be toppled as 53-54C looks possible in Iraq tomorrow and Thursday. Baghdad forecast for 53C against its all time record of 51C. Remember these places are not like Death Valley with a few people scattered here and there Baghdad has 6-7million people live in it. Probably 30-50million people will experience 50C plus in the middle east in the next few days.

Jahra in Kuwait recorded 53.3C yesterday which is the highest temperature recorded globally this year I believe.

Unbelievably at 9am local time this morning it was 2C higher than yesterday at 45.9C.

The enhanced rain is created using drone technology that unleashes electrical charges into clouds in order for them to clump together and form precipitation

They do cloud seeding a lot as well. Quite hard to forecast the weather as it has a helping hand. I've experienced some really un-natural storms out there

I can see the benefits on a local scale but in regards to global, I just hope it doesn't screw the climate, or maybe it's too late for that now.?‍♂️
