After early morning cloud cleared a dry hot day although less hot than yesterday. The thundery weather amounted to a few spots of rain on the windscreen.

Another hot day, after the warmest night by far here since I moved to Reading in 2002. Dry and sunny to start, a cloudy spell for a couple of hours finally clearing just before midday then hot and sunny in the afternoon.  Maximum 29.4, minimum 21.7.  Wind light W.

A dry and hot day with sunny periods after a few spots of  showery rain around 0700 g.m.t. An intense thunderstorm to the north of here between about 1530 and 1630 g.m.t. Last hight's minimum of 19.4c was the highest on record in July and the second highest on record for any month.
