Hard to tell. Acas are like little castles in the sky. Like mini CBs aloft. You don't have to have them to precede a storm, but they often do as they signify high altitude convection.

Well hello all..... it's that time again where I am sat out in the garden waiting (with everything crossed ) for something to happen. We currently have wall to wall grey clouds here with a keen breeze at times! 

 

I think my area has nothing to get excited about to night but just in case can anyone tell me otherwise?

I've no idea what a ppn is Allseasons. I just copied it from the meteox website that shows where thunderstorms could pop up. Great looking isn't it :yahoo:

Nice big clouds making me smile. Its really dark in the distance but this doesn't really show in the photo.
