Labour Leadership

Recommended Posts

I would like Jeremy Corbyn to stay on as leader. It be unwise to have a Labour leadership contest when the country is facing uncertainty after the Brexit vote.

If Jeremy still has the backing of party members, then the fair solution would be for him to stay on and those that don't want to be in that party with him as leader start a new one of their own.

If he's lost the support of the members, then he should go.

That's how democracy should work within a political party.

The solution for Labour is for their Blairites to resign their seats and join the Tories.

Jeremy can then put up proper Labour candidates for their seats.

I think the NEC should all resign to try and force Corbyn out. One every hour on the hour.

This should be done before the NEC ballot.

RIP Labour Party!

Corbyn will probably win and the party will split. I think Labour MP's should start working out what the new party should be called, perhaps threatening a split might force Corbyn out because it would look pathetic to have Corbyn and 40 other MP's as Her Majesties opposition.

Indeed what would happen, does anyone know what would happen in that case?

Alastair Campbell

"Lack of leadership, lack of strategy, lack of focus on anything other than his own position and politics, result is Labour laughing stock"

Who cares what this spin doctor thinks. Never forgive his blame game antics with Jo Cox.

If Corbyn wins again, he'll have shown he's a tough cookie. A quiet, well mannered tough cookie.

Up for the job as PM.

If I was in England, I'd vote for him.

Certainly has more of a backbone than the useless supply teacher act of Angela Eagle.
