Sunny Sheffield up 16.4C

Surprised by 16.7C seems a bit low to me. There's normally a 0.7C between Sheffield and the set zone.

Minimum today is 15.2C, while maxima look like reaching the mid 23s, so an increase to 16.9C is likely on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

17.0C to the 23rd (19.3: +2.4)
17.1C to the 24th (18.9: +2.3)
17.1C to the 25th (17.0: +0.0)
17.0C to the 26th (16.3: -0.9)
17.1C to the 27th (17.7: +0.5)
17.1C to the 28th (17.7: +0.3)
17.1C to the 29th (17.7: +0.0)
17.0C to the 30th (15.4: -2.0)
17.0C to the 31st (15.3: -1.9)

The latest GFS has a gradual trend from slightly above average to slightly below average from now until the end of the month. At this stage, I'd say a likely finishing range is 16.5C to 17.4C before corrections, and 16.1C to 17.4C after corrections.

Minimum today is 14.1C, while maxima look like being in the mid 23s, so an increase to 17.0C is likely on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

17.1C to the 24th (19.0: +2.4)
17.1C to the 25th (17.1: +0.1)
17.0C to the 26th (16.0: -1.2)
17.1C to the 27th (18.0: +0.8)
17.1C to the 28th (18.8: +1.4)
17.1C to the 29th (17.5: -0.2)
17.1C to the 30th (17.3: -0.1)
17.2C to the 31st (17.6: +0.4)

Looking a little milder for the final week now. At this stage, a finish of between 16.5C and 17.4C before corrections, and 16.1C to 17.4C after looks likely.

The last few days have certainly helped push the CET value up from what was beginning to look like a rather average and indeed cool month. The rest of the month looks fairly average, so I suspect it will now flatline. A finish in the low 17's most likely, so it will end up an above average month but not exceptionally so, indeed overall a rather average month, with maxes in the main nearer average, mins have helped push it to such levels.

The minimum is currently running about 1C above the rolling 81-10 average, while the maximum is 0.1C above average.
The maximum was 4C above average from the 17th to the 23rd, so pushed it up considerably.

Minimum today of 13.3C, while maxima look like reaching the low 20s, so remaining on 17.0C on tomorrows update.

After that, the 06z GFS has the CET at:

17.0C to the 26th (16.2: -1.0)
17.0C to the 27th (18.3: +1.1)
17.0C to the 28th (16.8: -0.6)
17.0C to the 29th (17.1: -0.6)
17.0C to the 30th (15.8: -1.6)
16.9C to the 31st (15.4: -1.8)

A relatively cool end to the month now favoured. The likely finishing range now 16.6C to 17.3C, and 16.2C to 17.3C after corrections. Best guesses in the high 16s.

Sunny Sheffield 16.8C may get another rise tomorrow although looking at the dew point tonight might be well down on forecast levels. Depend son how fast the rain arrives.

Yup a much colder night than predicted so a slight drop although hidden by the rounding. Today will produce a drop for us anyway.
