An hour and a half of moderate-heavy rain early yesterday evening but this was only the decaying remnants of much heavier showers a few miles to the east and south east where there was localised flooding. The NW rainfall radar accumulation suggests around 50 mm a few miles to the south of Ripley. Once these showers had cleared the rest of the night was cloudy with a few spots of drizzle or light rain, and intermittent fog above 300m.

Cloudy and wet overnight, further light rain and drizzle. Cloudy this morning, intermittent light drizzle. Cloud began to break through the morning and in to the afternoon allowing a few sunny spells. By mid afternoon heavy showers and thunder broke out across the area. This station only caught a short moderate shower.
