Haha, another sharp torrential downpour that lasted a few minutes and is almost stopped completely again! Lots of small heavy showers around these parts today.

I just can't see us getting in on the action today. Feels too cool and these showers don't seem to want to amount to anything more except a good soaking for a few minutes. Looks like the action is all further north today. Not ruling it out but just doesn't seem stormy here today so far.

Gutted this is all progged further south, I was in the firing line up until late afternoon yesterday. The Sun is out here now, so maybe some afternoon convection.

Nice downpour just went to my south, the radar looks better than it does in real life though. LOL.

Some vicious looking downpours over Birmingham and another in Shropshire. They seem to be developing more widely too but moving very slowly indeed.

Tell me about it......yet another day with thunder looking unlikely. A whole week of potential and not one storm. Don't know what I have to do to get one! Thought it looked good yesterday....

Just to the south of the storm here but have great views looking north towards netherton right now. Very moody skies.

This is awesome , Rain is as heavy as last Wednesdays deluge , lots of close lightning and thunder . If this keeps up there's going to be a fair few flooded out again !!

This is absolutely typical, looks like home is about to be struck by a nice storm in the next half hour, meanwhile I am stuck on a coach back from manchester and won't arrive till after it has passed... I just hope there is more to come

Showers seem to be developing on a line just to my south, potential convergence line?

Seems to be kicking off to my west now skies are brightening that way.

I went out to get lunch at 12.20 and was looking at the cloud scapes and they were very active in Shrewsbury, saw some weird clouds but never through it could be a spin up like that.... amazing capture.

Tempted to go to the coast, but might be no point.

Looks like it's exploding further east...

I hope the finger of intense rain stretching north over Nantwich will develop more.
