How cool is that? It could well be partly what I can hear, but another observation just now and it looks like funnels are trying to form but nothing worthy of the name just yet!

Hearing thunder but seeing no strikes registering on the live maps ?

Sky looks very dark here with intermittent sun. Just had some shotgun thunder and CG lightning Lot of loud rumbles now.

Fresh strikes in southend. Looks to be separate from the other essex cell to the west.

lots of lightning through out the day, having same issue here not all strikes showing up on radars..  we had one direct over head east side of island but nothing come up on the radar..

storm just literally developed out of nowhere and now giving marble sized hail and an incredible rate of thunder!!

Yeah lots of strikes I've heard here not showing on any radar.

 

Thunder's stopped now. Cells popping up all the time so still hopeful I'll see some actual lightning today.
