Watched it skirt to the east of here, nothing over-head but did observe some lightning and skies like these almost make up for this rotten summer

I tihnk this first monster may skirt just to the south of Chelmsford

but expecting a good show - the lightning is beocming more and more visible by the minute atm :)

I was thinking of a property on a game called I think.. Monopoly that I'm trying to invent, I got as far as Old Road but just feels like something is missing. I Kent think what I could add to make it more interesting :cc_confused:

Don't think so.  If you want an MCS, the stuff in the southern North Sea is more like it.

Just had to pick hubby up from station & saw a flash of lightning on the way home.  Rumbles are very distant at the moment but I can hear them.  Hubby thinks I'm hearing things! Think the storm is incoming  ⛈⚡️⛈⚡️

Sparks west, south, west, south, west...I can't keep up! Rain getting heavier and thunder louder. This is a powerful storm!

Sky here looks like I am looking up under the ocean at really smooth waves. Its very strange, I think it might be a good sign of instability.

Yeah a great show indeed so far wohoo! Lots of rain, is this the only band coming through or more Convective behind it.   I haven't had my mind on the weather lately, it's been pants.

either that or the flash flooding is considerably worse than predicted!
