Storm arriving here in south London now, some close CGs to the south and heavy rain starting, seems to be interrupting Sky TV too ...

wooah - just saw lightning (seemed to be C-G from the focussed nature of it) - from here in Chelmsford from storm S-West of London !!! must be > 40 miles away

a little taste of what's brewing for the SE quarter and parts of central southern England....a nice conveyor belt of thunderstorms that'll only grow....already up to 300 strikes per minute detected

Wow. Brittany now seeing big developments. Cambridgeshire could well join in on the fun too if it keeps to its current more NNE track :O

Its huge mate, and its still in the distance for me but inching closer by the second! More flashes and distant rumbles as I type. Still calm and dry here and incredibly humid.

I know this sounds daft but was watching the Bruges webcam and I swear a bloke walked across carrying a whole pig......must be one heck of a BBQ later!
