Let's enjoy this stream! :D http://www.beaming.biz/company/hastings-pier-webcam

Happy that we've managed to break the "import drought".

Just watching the distant lightning out of my window. Not as active as some other storms, but still a good little (if distant) show. The main focus appears to be moving away from me now, enjoy, London!

Just saw two massive flashes of IC from the approaching cell to the southwest and very distant thunder. Come on!

Can see some cells have developed over Dorset, will the SW join the action? Seems like people further west than the highest risk area have actually been hit the worst so far!

Not entirely sure this storm approaching me is completely elevated....alarmed by the green tinge to some of the Lightning (hail!!??) and the lightning and thunder growing really quite frequent now!!

Worth while taking a look at this webcam in central London, you can see the storms approaching from the south and a few nice flashes...

Starting to become an impressive event now. Basically a conveyor belt from northern Portugal to the S North Sea. Winds at 500hpa are set to have a more southerly component to them too very slightly as we go on through the night, so favouring us even more.

Happy days!

Yeah, I saw that green/blue tinge too. Never seen that with IC before. Not sure what to make of it. Still some way off but getting closer.
