I've been seeing for at least an hour what looks like remenance passing of maybe convection that didn't get going today cause it was too cloudy.

I've also been rueing that - it might have been very interesting.

I must admit I'm a tad surprised at the sizes of Norfolk and Suffolk. How far is Thetford from here?

Takes me 30 mins to get to Thetford! Meantime I have friends in Middleburg (north coast of Holland) - would love to be on the beach enjoying the view right now!

Not joking, most of the action has gone through the English Channel. Some action has gone through Southern England but not a huge amount, we'll have to see what happens overnight.

Just had a spectacular sunset here with some Altocumulus and Altocumulus Castellanus clouds lit up!

As I thought, I am to far north for it all. Always the way lol

Joking aside, I hope it starts shifting more northerly as it goes through the night.

Are you even following radar?  There are storms currently in Sussex/Surrey which made landfall in the New Forest - that isn't a Kent Clipper in any way.

@William Grimsley I threatened earlier and I will abide by it...melancholia, report to Mods

We are only experiencing initial bursts currently, with all models kicking off most action in the coming hours, through tomorrow morning (occasional models). AJs observations are encouraging as every model I saw indicated the western extent of the plume being around IoW (some not even that far).
