Forecast for today when I looked yesterday had better chances the more west of EA you are, especially in the Norfolk and Suffolk region.

Quiet one so far this year really but its not like that every year and it could change theres time yet.

good afternoon all, very cloudy here today and certainly not as humid as yesterday, fingers crossed for a storm later but does not have the same feel as it did yesterday, in France next week for the Le Mans 24hr and storms are forecast there

you should either try the cells just north of you and wait or you could travel NE and tr and get in front of the approaching cells

currently in Manchester city centre. It's been raining since 10:30am. Some quite heavy bursts, but nothing biblical. The radar seems to show the intensity decreasing at the moment, and the rain expanding. Off back home (Newton) in the next few hours.

Exceptionally heavy rain and flash flooding here in Orpington at the moment. Not heard thunder though which is surprising given the nature of the precipitation!!
