A dull damp start to the day although mild for once

Yesterday.

 

Clear spells overnight and for a time through the early hours allowed the temperature to fall well in to the chilly category, cloud increased after 02:00 GMT and the temperature started to rise slowly. A good deal of low cloud around this morning, bright spells. Cloud thinning and breaking towards lunch-time allowing sunny spells in to the afternoon. Turning cloudy once more by late afternoon.

When I left Warrington at 9am, it was 18c and generally cloudy, but quite humid. Currently near Stoke, cooler at 17c, but still quite humid and cloudy. Expecting showers to develop back at home later today.

A few sunny spells early afternoon and some more now. Horrible humid when the sun is out and coupled with high pollen levels not a pleasant day

Max temp so far 19.6C now 19.3C so time to go higher, Barometer 1016mb now falling, Wind F2 NE, Rainfall Trace

 Very warm and humid with strong sunshine. Currently  23.4°C which is the maximum.

The day started out much the same as the last 3 days, cloudy, dry and cold winds, but by midday the winds seems to die back some and the temperature was creeping up to 15C by lunchtime. Even that was warmer than the last 3 days!

Back to gloom again. Expect it's humid gloom rather than cold gloom. As ever the met office failed to take account how the cloud from the east coast loves to cling on. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Warm and sunny again, though feeling warmer than recent days with a high of 22C. Have recorded over 100 hours of sunshine in the last 8 days.

Dry and cloudy with brief bright intervals in the afternoon, the fifth sunless day out of the last six (and we only had about an hour of sunshine on the other day, Thursday). Feeling warmer than of late. Maximum 19.3, minimum 9.4. Wind light NE.

Another dry day but this time with much more in the way of cloud, However long bright intervals and occasional sunny spells more especially later in the day.Temps around 17c, and still 16c now.
