I'm a definite summer girl, but I must say it was nice to see some rain after a few weeks without it. Looking forward to the heat again though.

This really is the pits.

Drizzle and humid, cant open windows from rain direction, house feels yuk.

To think we actually had a cool night sun/mon, was fantastic for sleeping.

Been humid here the whole time, lovely and cool outside today, with some dry spells. Still T'shirt weather though even with the cloud. Must have got used to the cooler weather we get down here.

A good soaking the first in a longtime, I did notice the grass starting to turn that browny, yellowy hue. It feels quite fresh compared to what we've seen no trouble sleeping, overcast again I'd take the heat back in an instant over this.

Well I hope all the Rain wishers are happy. All because of a bit of yellow grass and dry ground.

Back to the miserable, wet, dank weather... Just what I want in August. Give me back some sun and dry weather over this any day

I personally like green lush grass but to each his own.

On/off drizzle here today, but been out with the bubble mixture so it didn't really matter, bit of a wind here too.

not minding the wet weather, nice to be in doors, cosy watching a film instead of wondering what piece of clothing to take off next, but you know, to each his own.

So do I, but i would much prefer dry warm days over this muck, so therefore yellow grass all the way in my opinion...I have 10 months of the year to see green grass.

Ben you seem very seldom to be happy on this forum!!!!!

Not at all, just cant get my head around how anyone would wish/welcome this weather. Unless your a indoor body of course.

If you go back through my posts you will see I have loved this humid dry weather and made the most of every moment

I've loved the humid dry sunny (ish) days... This weather definitely gives me the SAD effect..... Still at least folk have had their flowers watered I guess..lol! Who knew filling up a watering can could be so difficult.

But i accept that everyone different so ill stop with my negativity.

See you back on here when the sun comes out again ;-) ( Hopefully we can get some more hot humid days before the bucket loads of rain and wind land upon us for 6 months)

The garden appreciated the rain but that aside it is a thoroughly disgusting day here. 'Nuff said.

Well as an allotment holder I'm glad it has rained. I can't get to my plot everyday to water it so a bit of rain helps. What I agree with you is apart from the rain, sunny days would be lovely! Unfortunately the UK must be one of the cloudiest places on Earth and it just never stops. Might get a nice weekend coming up at least, before the next round of horror begins next week...

Today has been a miserable mix of rain, drizzle and overcast skies. Sun tried to break through around 15:30 but failed miserably. Hasn't been out properly since Sunday, certainly doesn't feel like August
