Well what a great evenings entertainment weathwise!

From around 7pm we had distant rumbles for about 45 minutes untill the sky got darker and darker and the wind got up, then all of a sudden BOOM!

Frequent CG lighting, huges crashes of thunder and absolutely torrential rain, the drains and gutters can't cope. Still raining now with the odd lightning strike but the worst has definitely passed. One of the best & Longest storms in many years!

Norfolk is such a depressing place to live in the summer. Even worse than winter! One distant rumble of thunder back in April (I think), and not a single convective cloud formation for months and months :nonono:

Rained Saturday night and Sunday night, most of the day was threatening rain, but was dry.

11.3mm between 23:00 and midnight

I will join the pain of some others!

Here in Cambridge it's pretty much been dry as a bone - a couple of hours of mizzly drizzly pish yesterday, but all the convective stuff has seemingly detoured either side of here for days. Maybe it's karma for that mother of god storm we had last July when the whole city flooded.....hoping my luck will change over the summer!

Very dreary day for June; cold, damp and gloomy. Yuck!

I was in my second home - in Essex rather than Swaffham (hence the difference in conditions).
