Yes, still some intense cell development near the Welsh Borders so still time for development. :)

Yes. Quite a few cells popping up wonder if the mk mother will head here?

Sadly that one's not for us...we need to be looking west for ours! More likely one will develop on our doorstep like that one in Kinver did!

Lots to look forward to over the next couple of hours I reckon!

Hail falling now in MK, sky turning darker and more lightning and thunder.

New thunderstorm has gone up east of Eastbourne in the last hour - literally out of nothing. Could be back building as its seems to be shifting towards me.

We have pretty much got a rash of relative small thunder cells firing and dying in a number of areas, but you can't take your eyes from that Bedfordshire monster.

That came from nowhere! Gone very dark here, but still no formations that I can make out. It's really hazy though

That MK cell..has it changed direction or have i been staring at the radar too long?

Hard to say really. It's been slowly trundling northeast but it's been backbuilding on its western edge, which is why it's still going strong.

I think it might be backbuilding giving the illusion that it's changed direction. I may be wrong though?

Constant thunder from a storm that's just started north of Worcester and just had a very close and rain free CG....

If you're right it's time to look for funnels, if anyones chasing it.

That was my thought, but it could equally be backbuilding I guess

yep saw it, took some pics but they do it justice. lots of direct hits over head, amazing rain, constant lightning. could see some movement hence the fact i didn't feel very happy standing out in it.

I had to go out in it to save a few plants I was hardening! The bulk of the lighting is only just reaching here.
