Definitely sparking off as result of nocturnal cooling and trough moving eastwards.

thought that trough wasn't due until tomorrow or is this the first of a few

It's less clear now that the inland Wales cells have gone, but you can draw a definite line through from Ireland, through Wales & England & into France. Some sort of trough or CZ?

Doesn't look like the Worcester cell has much oomph. No new strikes for a few minutes. Well it was a nice surprise.

Was a real nice surprise to look out the window just when it started to spark, about 10 decent flashes but now it's all gone quiet again.

Nice surprise yes but they build up pop corn style and run out of steam. The front moving inland is helping them fire

Nothing here in Worcester now but i could hear the rumbles as well with nothing showing on radar. The cell is near Redditch by the looks of things and heading slightly east of Kidderminster.

Loads of energy here if only something would fire.  Still 20.6°C.

By the looks of things the cell that produced the lightning earlier is just moving into Kidderminster now.

Been sat in the garden for the last two hours, watching distant flashes through the trees. Still around 20 degrees here, although feeling a tiny bit cooler now that there is a slight breeze.
