The problem here is I need to be back here for 17:30 ish, so basically if I don't go soon I won't have much time, I was sort of expecting thunderstorms widely now inland but nothing's happened yet...

What is odd is that the sea breeze has stopped...

I have to say that storm over Winchester last night was nice. Was sat on Ryde seafront watching the light show from afar. Good luck to those wanting a storm today

Lots of hazy muck in the sky today, feels quite warm but seems to be inhibiting anything convective here.

That's more like it! Lengthier sunny spells now in between more bubbly cumulus cloud rather than the earlier whiteness. And, how long has that cell been flirting with Brighton!!

Just sat west of Chard under a big Towering Cumulus cloud.

I'm just outside Warminster by longleat forest and defiantly convection going now fingers crossed something happens

well convection seems to be firing in forecasted areas

can't see any risk of thunder or lightning in that area tho
