Very much doubt that anything coming down from the NW, towards London and the south east will be electrified.

Has been an interesting day though, and some have done well, if not very well! Not too bad for the UK.:)

Seems to be a lot of development overhead here now. Nothing on radar yet!

This was the small cell now over Sussex, from the western side. Friends in the area report some action but nothing great, however I'd guess those slightly further north might fare ok.

Nowt in my location currently, sky relatively clear. Light but fresh breeze.

We had a fun time a while ago near Oxford, woo hoo! I haven't heard thunder so close for ages, what a cracker. Gorgeous lightning. Absolutely massive drops! And round two is just kicking off now.....

12 miles down the road and we got diddly squat!

A miss for us today, wasnt really expecting anything here when looking at the models & forecasts so not too disappointed, looks to be dying off in most places now.

My friend in Wallingford also got nothing, it kept fading on the radar as it got closer, we saw it growing upwind from us over Eynsham, then it just came and hit us. Perfect show!

if anyone likes atmospheric storm vids I've got one from near Luton earlier, lots of thunder and a few forks - 20 mins long tho!

Still very warm here so hoping for some late night thunder before I drive back to Godalming. Currently in Guildford

well the system that formed over Lincoln & the system at Coningsby have merged and have tracked SW toward Sleaford. My location only caught the eastern side rain, however the sleaford/ heckington area is seeing some lightening

Yeah I have my eye on it wonder if it's going to electrify though? Not sure if it's going to miss Harefield either
