Yeah, from Blackpool can only see the back of the cell.

I think a side view may have been better.

Much better than I can offer! All I have here in Essex is Blue skies!

Bristol Channel cell is back building and increasing in size - gobling all that energy up - could be an interesting evening if it keeps on building as the sun goes down and darkness takes hold

Can see large cumulus development to the north over north Lancashire. Two recent sferics from the cell to north of Preston.

Can see it from here Kev on the N horizon....thought it was closer than it is until I checked the radar. Some serious flooding under that I'd imagine. It's barely moved within the hour.

Some precipitation near me, looks like something is developing to my SW tho.

Some quite rapid developments to my west!

Nice to see more widespread thunderstorm activity today!!

Looking good tomorrow, particularly on the notoriously erratic MetO precip forecasts, which go nuts for much more widespread convective activity (hence prompting the MetO yellow warning earlier today)...here's hoping :D

1 or 2 storms in Wales... and a whole bunch more Torrential downpours :)
I'm looking at developments between Cardiff and Newport, but also West Bristol.
The sky has definitely fired up,. It's still very humid out over SE Wales valleys.

It would appear that Belgium doesn't want to share its storm here, maybe due to pending Brexit?

It's all gone a bit quiet, perhaps we will get some ammo imported for tomorrow, but for now it's time for bed!!!!!!

Tomorrow's looking good. I think we could see some intense thunderstorms popping up in central southern areas. ⚡️⚡️

Never mind Brexit, it's usually hard enough getting European storms to 'Br-entry'!

Gone quiet again here now, most of the activity looks to be to my east. If there's anyone north of Swansea it could be worth keeping an eye out.

I was invited out for dinner tomorrow evening but couldn't find the right words to say "sorry thanks but I don't want to miss the thunderstorms that may or may not happen" so I said I was "busy"

It has been heavy here all day, even during the sun this afternoon, but since the cloud has edged in, it really is oppressive.

No Thunder here, but big drops of rain, the type you get in this weather.

The Bristol Channel seems to be a breeding ground at the moment lol - makes a change for it to be water and not land. Can see some big towers out that way through the lower level stuff.

Correction to the above, a little bit of thunder and lightning.

What I posted about the cloud I saw earlier. The clouds from about 4 in the morning looked pretty unstable but ultimately led to nothing in the end. Tomorrow looks fun to say the least! IF I don't get a storm tomorrow i'll buy everyone on here a pint
