Really cool pick from Tim Peake, not sure if that was a storm or not but it looks beautiful and it makes the UK look quite small.

Yeah you can see the remnants of the storm near Manchester, great pic!

Thunderstorm and torrential rain here in Bangor, north west Wales

And yet on the eastern side of Anglesey during the past 45 minutes there has hardly been a drop of rain.

Beautiful clear skies here, not a cloud in sight, not hopeful for here today but Ireland currently having some good storms, and Scotland/Wales/SW England could have an interesting afternoon - good luck all

Here in sunny espana in Benidorm! Very hot, but distant high based TCU over the mainland. If I get anything I'll share it!

Looks like the first cell in our region has just fired, just north of Bude.

General cloudiness here now. Looks and feels thundery but can't tell what's going on further up.

Can't see much hitting here storm wise but seeing the towering cumulus around to the North and East is rather interesting too see, there is not much of a sea breeze and who knows as the evening goes on then any off shore winds may help any developing showers to hit here.

That is some fairly impressive CAPE for any storms to tap in to over the next few hours...

Just glancing at a couple of hi-res models, it looks like some lucky Welsh folk will possibly get to see some lightning as the light fades this evening.

Today's t-showers are one up from yesterday, and tomorrow's likely to be one up on today's. :)
