Further West toward Swansea and Llanhelli, anything that develops explodes.

Some nice structure near Aberystwyth this afternoon. The motion was unusual, looked like it was heading out to sea but then did an abrupt right turn directly overhead.

That storm in Wales is a beast, especially in terms of Precipitation intensity

Plenty going on this afternoon here in SW Wales. Currently in between towering clouds after the earlier storm.  The photo doesn't really do justice to the size of the clouds.

As someone else pointed out earlier we didn't really see any clearance of the overnight / morning cloud before the storm, so I wouldn't panic if you've not seen the sun today.

Quite possible we'll see similar tomorrow, the amount of cloud here this morning really limited the amount of energy today.

The BBC Graphics have some very intense and well defined cells for tomorrow (Unreliable I know)

I'm just sat off junction 13 at Stroud! Good luck! Dark skies to my south.

I have been watching these storms over Bristol and it's 30 or so mile radius... thinking they're dying... but no.. just pulsing..
it's happened here in Blackwood too.. ~ sometimes you've seen an epic storm to the South.. it dies out over Blackwood.. and then pulses into epic strength when it gets 10 miles further North... clouds ... not clowns... this is no joke Mr Cloud, give me your electric!

Should have gone south however the m5 south is woeful. Very long tail backs.

Yep, heading for Weston, hopefully they stay potent as the near the channel, unlike the other ones.
