Chase Day 18 - KS/OK/TX - 17 tornadoes!

Recommended Posts

Another day another risk from this mad week of Storm Chasing and this Upper trough which is stuck. Obvious play today around the Dryline/OFB Intersection. Expecting more problems with traffic than storms today

Hi guys. It's all about the OFB today. I'd earlier looked at Higgins, but latest vis sat indicates intersection of OFB and DL more likely further west central OK panhandle.  Heading up to Booker.

Lol,like superman going around the earth:D

yes,on Corey now but he does seem to be dipping in and out of reception quiet a bit and there doesn't seem to be many online at this point, our team are not on it and will not catch it either.

is that a tightening hook developing to the SW of the storm?

there is a fair bit of lightning kicking out of this cell:shok:

Lone supercell riding the OFB ... for now! Just a question of waiting for things to fire further west

Does look like it might drop at any moment watching the live streaming on News9, low rotating wall cloud.

Lone Tornado-warned supercell near Scott City, Kansas has already dropped a few tornadoes, not that  many chasers up there compared to NW Oklahoma though!

Storm the team are on appears to be tornado-warned now, though unfortunately network coverage looks patchy where they are now to give good uninterrupted streaming.
