Day 6 of Tour 2 sees a decent risk in Texas and Oklahoma, Mesoscale boundaries will be the big player today. Good luck to all out chasing

There was some concerns from SPC earlier today about a cold pool from overnight / morning MCS moving over Oklahoma dampening severe risk, but looks like cold pool is quickly vanishing as decent moisture and insolation returns to NW Texas, western OK and SW Kansas looking at recent obs. Good luck for today T2!

MD for tornado watch to be issued for the area the team are currently driving through, OFB surging west and dryline edging east and 70F+ dew points into SW OK looking ideal to trigger some tornadic supercells in western OK far eastern TX Panhandle. V. Large hail to watch out for too.

Looks like the team have headed down to I40. Should be some god storms down there and a nice boundary which should focus some god cells (I suspect they might be HP however). I've stayed up around Woodward so far. Whilst I think storm coverage is less guaranteed up here, on the plus side, I'm hoping fewer chasers, less flooded roads as the MCS was much more severe down south last night, I'm hoping for less HP due to more sane dewpoints and there is a healthy outflow boundary heading in from out East which will probably increase low level shear up here. I'm hoping for an isolated cell to ride the boundary east from the Tx/Ok border towards me early evening... I'm probably being too optimistic but I'll also have more options tomorrow for the Northern play too!

Mainly about the boonies while we wait for an LP cell to either explode or shrivel
