After a grey start to the day and a bit of rain this morning it has turned out to be a lovely day warm sunny and looking at the sky quite a bit of convection about what that means for the next few hours i dont know but has looked better today for storms than it has the last few days haven't had anything since Saturday, Nice enough to go sit in the beer garden with the lads and hope something happens later.

Judging by Sat24; we can see cumulus growing over central areas, as these move SW I expect these to grow into some storms!

It's heading WSW, straight for the Purbeck area atm. More sferics in the Forest now, frustrating to have seen it develop almost overhead but not quite produce here!

Those South coast showers look good on @manpantz stream anyhow

I'm currently doing finishing touches to my site, is the webcam page updated to the new one on your site?

I've been testing everything on my mobile and tablet, so that it renders nicely on smaller screen. It's hard to cater for every device though, i've encountered so many issues!

Hook echo?

no.....no sign of a hook echo there, at least to my eyes.....looks like 2 cells in there, with 2 distinct cores....more discrete cells firing over south wilts, dorset and hants, one heading for, dare I say it, Newton Poppleford

Some nice convection kicking off around these parts. Really hoping my local storm shield packs up just for this evening! The attached image pretty much sums up this thundery spell in my area lol!

The clouds are looking menacing to my Northeast..

Big drops of rain here now, it'll show up on the radar soon.

50p piece size drops!
