Chase Day 1 - Colorado Slight Risk

Seems strange starting here as its usually Texas but we will take what we can and after finishing in Colorado in 2015 its fitting to start up here again. Its strange seeing drifts of snow still on the ground up here at 6100ft asl from last weeks snowstorm but things are looking nice for today. A very complex picture with a few mesoscale features on tap today. A boundary draped from SW Kansas through NW Kansas NE Colorado to Wyoming sees 50's dewpoints to the east of that front, a Low pressure currently SW of Denver will move NE This afternoon to reside in NE Colorado by 00z, a trailing dryline will intersect these 3 points making the triple point set up somewhere near the CO/NE Border. Storms today will be moving almost due North and we are hopeful the 50's moisture can be advected in along strong Easterlies for a small window of Tornadoes, should be plenty of hail though and Supercell structures to keep us busy. Long slog back South and East tomorrow for an expected bigger risk in Oklahoma and Kansas

The guys bagged the first tornado of the year. Sky looking angry at the moment.

I keep getting booted out of the stream every now and then.

Due to needing to be down further south and east blown off the Supercells moving into Wyoming and going to play with the ones further east on our journey towards tomorrows action. Today has been excellent with some great footage already!

Incredible days Chasing with 4 Tornadoes. Nice one near Wiggins flipping farm machinery, 2nd was near Eckley a lovely white Elephant Trunk, 3rd was south of Wray then the incredible Tornado North of Wray crossing Highway 385 we were a few hundreds yards south of this with the Meso Collar above our heads. Some of the others will upload insane video and pictures from Today.

What a start to Tour 1 - Colorado is incredible!

The Wray, Colorado Tornado has been a chasers dream today. Reed Timmer got side-swiped by (i think the same one) too.

Looks the same one in structure, I just saw his feed on FB and hadn't realized he was in Colorado chasing today.
