Pictures that I am taking on my phone, don't give a clear representation on how quickly these towers are going up! (And how large!)

Should expect to see some precipitation in the form of showers on the next update or two.

Quote a bit of AcCas her at the mo, streaming NW. Not expecting anything but interesting nonetheless.....

Ditto here AsCas to the east. Small chance of something later.

I'll look to get this fixed, it wasn't changed by design, in fact we deliberately changed the old theme to include the location info in posts for tablet/mobile users, it's just fallen off the new theme & wasn't reported by anyone so we didn't pick up on it.

If anyone noticed problems like this (or in fact with anything else on the site) please do post them up into the help/support area - it's hard to monitor all threads for support issues and the like.

Now back to the storm risk :D

Just following up on this, locations now show on mobile/tablet on both the new and old forum themes.

Been watching some cumulus growing to the north of London. Starting to look a bit more impressive now.

These towers beginning to gather shapes of showers now.

If that makes sense...

Storms coming to life in North East France now, maybe the start of wider activity, including some here in the UK

Edit: Showers breaking out in Wales now

Concur there's some more instability showing now - initially this out to see in east Kent, now home in Bexley signs towards the west too. Very very warm here, car said 29C at one point, currently saying 27.5C and even if it's a degree off or so it is balmy for early May!

Currently sitting in the back garden with a glass of wine,.I've been watching a row of towers to the south of me slowly drifting west, starting to get some height too.Think I'm too far north to see anything here.Wales could be the place to be today.

As others have noted, there's been some regular big fluffy cumulus bubbling up to the N/NW of here during the afternoon. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of it all.

Great to see Brum got a lashing last night, though Sod's Law it happens a few weeks before I'm due to move there! ;p

Knackered after clubbing last night, so I don't know how late I'm gonna manage radar watching tonight!

No surprise at the lack of activity (so far), given no support aloft to release the few 100j/kg CAPE that has likely built up this afternoon.  Also worth noting lack of moisture in the boundary layer - single figures dewpoints in some spots, which Euro4 predicted.  Not a favourable environment by any means for storm development. Some Cu bubbling up around the region, but just no other means other that sfc heating to get things going.  Over to western ROI and can see a couple of cells have developed under greater synoptic scale ascent near to frontal boundary.
