 A straight westerly wins today, so  dry all day with sunny intervals as I expected it would be. Max  9.6°C, min  2.7°C. Now the sun is setting  The first shower is about to hit.

White on the tops first thing, third day running with snow but it soon went with the heavy showers this morning.

drier conditions followed with a decent afternoon and especially evening although our walk after tea was a bit on the cold side.

The Westerly is keeping the temp up here, currently  7.0°C. 

That small veering of the flow  compare to yesterday has made today turn out  completely different. This is common here at this time of the year.

Chilly night but didn't quite manage an air frost, 1.7c a short while ago with some frost on the grass. Nice morning as the suns comes up.

Indeed Ian, I think for the first time this Spring the UV was 3 and I could certainly feel it on the face after I did some tidying up outside. Should bump up to 4 in the next 2 or 3 weeks (sun permitted!)

Just started raining, looks like a wet day coming up and the southerly wind is increasing, currently 7.3c. Off to Leeds later this morning for the weekend so hopefully not too wet there.

Lovely sunny day yesterday,  cloudy start today and then downhill into a wet miserable afternoon and evening.

and a mixed weekend coming up.

Poor start to the day although pretty well as forecast.

It hasn't helped my plans for doing a few outside jobs though and the alternative option of doing them tomorrow is now looking a bit less likely with last nights predicted dry and fairly warm Sunday now looking to be more showery.

typical although not surprising that forecast good conditions always seem to downgrade but poor ones never seem to upgrade.

Back from Leeds not a bad weekend, a bit wet yesterday morning before the rain cleared north after lunchtime in time for a long walk round Eccup and near the Emmerdale village on the Harewood Estate. Was sunny coming over Stainmore but not so sunny back home, it's dry though.

cloudy misty start, nice and sunny in the middle, cloudy late afternoon and evening .....but dry throughout so not a bad day in the end

Apart from the few hours of sunshine around midday today, disappointingly wet weekend here, with light rain on Sat until 4pm, and almost continuous rain after 3pm today - the latter was not in any forecast and a dry afternoon was predicted here, no rain before the evening and certainly not in this amount. :nonono:

Mild overnight with a low of 8.4°C, some light rain this morning starting to clear away north with some brightness developing. 10.1°C now.

Not much on the radar but a very wet evening, cut the dog walk short! Chilly @ 7.4°C.
