Not surprised to hear reports of snow. Down to 4.1°C here so inland it must be even colder.

Enjoy it :-)

It'll be December at least before I see any more snow, not that I saw any this year. Well and truly in thunderstorm mode now

It is caused by Heavy precipt and evaporative cooling here to make the conditions favorable to snow.

They were massive flakes. Nice little bonus before the cricket season starts in 4 weeks.

Heavy snow showers this morning, peeeeeeing down this afternoon, a mixture of both at the moment.

yes it's still March and this kind of weather can occur in March but I'd prefer something a bit warmer and settle for snow a month earlier.

Could not agree more, winter had its chance and failed misserably

Something a bit warmer would be good

Meantime cold icy rain, with the possibility of more wintry PPN

For high ground ovetnight, welcome to BST

Some big flakes of wet snow over my bit of high ground at the moment but certainly not enough to stick.

otherwise it's just plain cold wet rain.
