Sun is out in Crail after a grey start. Wind off the sea so never going to be that warm but pleasant enough in shelter from the breeze, 12c.

Some cloud around but really not a bad afternoon now at all. Looks like a not too bad week coming up

Max of 23.8c here today. Felt very warm given how cold it has been.

Another very warm day tomorrow before temps slide as the week goes on. Still pleasant until about Thursday though :)

Well  in spite of  supposedly  being in a warm spell it is currently 4c and foggy, growth slowed again. Stayed very misty untill about 4.00pm yesterday when finally warm sunshine broke through and it reached 16c for an hour or so. See other local aeas are reporting fairly low temperatures this morning.

Misty start to the day here but it's burned off to blue skies and a warm sun with a gentle breeze. We'll see if it matches yesterday's high of 17.4C in Dyce.

Inland where we were yesterday it probably topped out a degree or so higher than that, maybe 18-19C (Aboyne hit 20.8C). Certainly felt a lot warmer than recently, especially mid-afternoon wearing a bee-suit. Took advantage of the weather and the wife's bee colony was successfully moved into a nice new hive. Queen found too, which was a bonus, and now boasts a nice blue mark on her back to make her easier to spot next time.

I suppose we'd better enjoy the next few days as it looks like another cold plunge is incoming in time for the weekend.

Inland Aboye has got above 21C but Dyce only just managed to breach 15C before flatlining. I'm assuming the latter is due to an Easterly breeze off the North Sea.

First 21c of the year with blue skies and a moderate SE wind.A lot of swallows and sandmartins arrived today and the farm steading is just alive with them.Everything getting greener but still feeding cattle and the forecast lower night time temperatures will not help in the next week or so. First cut silage will certainly be into June.

13c the high here. Felt okay in sheltered sunshine but a nagging breeze in the shade. At least the haar has stayed away (so far)!

Mum was saying when she went down south to Gloucester area that the grass was ready for a first cut! Crazy really...

There are differences within Scotland too. For example, last Friday the daffodils were coming/in bloom at Stirling uni. Yesterday in Auchinleck area the daffodils were wilting/dying off. Here, we don't have any left. All the ones in south facing or normal locations are long since gone, north facing ones are maybe still just about alive.

Great day here, breeze keeping it 'pleasantly warm' as opposed to uncomfortable. Topped out at 24.3c.

First 24c of the year... Not bad for quite early on :)

Still sunny now I know Sun was already up at half past 5 in the morning so we're clearly in the 15 hours plus of sun days

Hottest day of all time on Skye no?

It didn't feel *that* hot. I suppose I've just been spoilt by spending my last two summers in Belgium.

Maybe the breeze tempered it a bit? Was really warm but the breeze did make it feel cooler

Pleasantly warm day again, 22.7c.

Just perfect!

Same again tomorrow... Could get used to this.

Unfortunately, gone by Friday.

Everything looks lovely and so ripe. Rodadendren (how you say it, not spell it) bush/tree is a bright pink with it's flowers. Can be seen from the village over a mile away.... All the bumble bees grab the nectar too.

Love this time of year!
