Strange day here today, one of those where it is simultaneously warm (out of wind in sun) and bitingly cold (out of sun and in wind). 

Moderately heavy wet snow here now with it attempting to lie as a wet layer on the cars and grass. Wonder if I can wake to lying snow?

Nice to see the sun again. Blue skies and sunshine to start the weekend. Chilly at 6c. In fact we haven't seen double figures since the 9th! However this northerly is a big improvement on the dreary easterly conditions of earlier in the week.

Cold bright day with flurries of hail  here after some sleet overnight so no covering here this morning but high ground over 1500 feet has had a top up and kept it during the day.One of those days when behind glass in the tractor cab its very warm but as soon as you step outside the wind cuts right through you.A maximum of 6c but falls to 2c  during the hail showers.

Obligatory tourist shot of the Black Cuillins from Sligachan below, looking glorious as always. General mixture of jumper material and beautiful sunshine to full on winter conditions and a windchill of 6 below, Scottish spring walking at it's best, can't beat it *insert appropriate superlatives

Stay away from the longer term Met forecast for into May. I read it earlier and reckon It'll be days before I cheer up!

Been a very chilly few days...

A lot of hail and even some sleet/snow.

Not a lot of clear sky today but it was certainly a Blue day! 

A lot of Union flags etc out today...

Off topic but i love that Scottish football now has two big teams again. 

A truly glorious day!

Fine sunny breezy day, sowing spring barley in clouds of dust at last.Don"t like the sound of next weekend as we have almost a fortnight of night time temperatures coming up that are  too cold to  keep plants growing.    Cattle will have to stay in  until May as grass growth very slow.. My big fear is that winds eventually go round to the NW but still keep the cool weather going after crossing a cool North Atlantic. Would be very hard to take another spring and early summer as cold as last years. Currently 9c

Been rather strange last couple of days. When sun's went behind a cloud (which hasn't really been that thick) we're had drizzle but as soon as the sun's came out again it's stopped instantly. Weird

Decent today, sun is now pretty strong.

Maxed at 11.3c due to a nagging breeze and some cloud cover for spells

Although it's not exactly been what you'd term warm, especially in the stiff breezes we've had, it has been pretty dry and sunny for the last few days. Can't say I'm looking forward to what the forecast is suggesting from the weekend onward. We have snow symbols starting to appear again. I just want to get on with the garden and try to get some veg growing earlier than I did last year.

I'm pretty quick to complain about the weather so only fair to comment that today is beautiful. Clear sky, calm and pleasantly warm in the sunshine. Lovely day. Not looking forward to the weekend and beyond much just now. What are the chances of recording falling snow in May again? 2010 and (I think it was) 2012 have that dubious honour recently.

Today felt pretty nice. Only reached 12.7c but was sunny all day, light winds. 

Sun is pretty strong now...

Set fair for tomorrow and Thursday. 15c touted for Thursday... Not bad! :)

Another glorious start to the day here but there might have been a touch of frost on the grass overnight.

There's only one problem with this weather....yet again it comes during the working week!
