Nice and sunny down here, and warm.

Summer seems to be down to the mesoscale level this year, so many complaints in the Summer 2016 thread.. I have none! Sunshine levels may be below average, but there has still been plenty of it here, rainfall is below average for the Summer and temperatures are currently above the MetO regional average for Summer as well.

Temp: 21.3°C - Hum: 62% - Dew: 13.8°C - Bar: 1023.54hPa - Wind: NW @ 6mph.

Another day ruined by the wind and cloud coming in from the west. With tomorrow's balloon launch at risk of being cancelled because of wind, this is becoming one of the worst "fine" spells this summer.

I know right. It started well but the cloud has encroached. I've taken my visiting Spanish friend to Cardiff and we are both freezing! Just hope this weekend is better. Sunny and calm isn't too much to ask from a fat high pressure haha.

Lack of rain now really problematic for gardening work,however days in the low 70s are to be cherished.Next week might mean some early starts and early finishes temps in the 80s do give me trouble.

Uninterupted sunshine all day. Feels very warm even with a slight breeze. Reached 24.7c not long ago.

A very Mediterranean style day after a surprisingly cool start, repeat performance tomorrow too.

Ian Fergusson made mention of lightning potential Wednesday night, with a Warm Front lifting Northwards it does seem the sort of set up that could produce elevated lightning shows.
