Just had a very heavy shower with max rain rate of 155.6mm/hr. Looks very dark to the west again so looks like more incoming.

Some rain here at 7am, 1.4mm
September had 32.4mm of rain.
Now 12.3c, was 10.8c at 6:45am. Light SSE wind, 1005.5 hPa, 91% humidity.

Thought I was going to wake up to a morning of heavy rain and grey skies.
Looking W,N,E,S plenty of blue sky at the moment. Perhaps some heavier showers later.

.. had some thunder here too, this morning. Nothing exceptional in terms of rain intensity, just a long moderate burst of rainfall this morning, dropping 8.8mm. It is now the 7th day in a row that rain has fallen here, those 7 days have brought 28mm.

Nice and sunny now, feeling chilly though, and the winds have increased.

Temp: 15.1°C - Hum: 74% - Dew: 10.5°C - Rain: 8.8mm - Bar: 1005.05hPa - Wind: WSW @ 12mph, gusting to 23mph.

We were woken by lightning and thunder at half six, the rain then abated but came back with a vengeance around half eight.  Total to 10.00BST was 13.2mm, making it the wettest day of the month. Sunshine and showers the order of the afternoon with some wonderful towering cumulo-nimbus.

Not hard seeing as it's the 1st!! LOL.

Fantastic sky watching afternoon with CBs aplenty and rapidly forming downpours amidst plenty of sunshine.

I've missed weather like today's - typical sunshine and showers day, unlike the cloudy showers days we had in September. Wouldn't mind a few more of these days, with some hail and thunder thrown in in October and November.

Andy, my rainfall stats are taken from 09.00GMT to 09.00GMT (hence 10.00BST) the next day, so what I recorded this morning goes down as September 30th.

Ended up a decent but chilly day after the torrential rain earlier. 17.4mm the total for the day, nearly all of which fell in the space of a couple of hours this morning.

High temp: 16.2°C.

Temperature now dropping quickly so looks like being a cool night. Currently 10.3°C.

A chilly start this morning, down to 5.6°C. Lots of sunshine and blue skies today, a bit more Cu around this afternoon though. I'm fishing tonight, should be calm conditions, which is good.

Beautiful day in Falmouth. Not the warmest of days but very pleasant in the sun and made for a great afternoon enjoying the pubs and atmosphere in town. :)
