Very humid right now with mid level cloud and clear intervals but probably doesn't mean anything for thundery weather.

So glad that atlantic storms and windy weather exists otherwise the weather would be boring me out of my mind these days due to the lack of thunderstorms.

Very tropical feeling day today. After a low overnight of an impressive 23.1c at 3.30am this morning, the morning was overcast and incredibly humid. Top temperature today was 32.6c at 4:10pm.

Currently 22.0c with 94% humidity and feeling incredibly sticky still. Had a brief heavy shower around half hour ago and has just made things more sticky!

That's quite a difference from here where the high was 26.3°C.

Not quite as warm as this time last night but still 19.1°C and feels very humid.

The clearance of the sheet of Ac was quite noticeable last night as there was a sharp demarcation line between the drier, clear sky, and the Ac as it moved east. Quite noticeable because it occurred at sunset.

Anyway this morning we have those clear skies with a temp of 11C and calm.

Some lovely blue skies today.
It dropped to 17c at 7am today after 20c for most of the night and very humid/sticky, but back on the rise now at 18.3c.
1017.4 hPa and 75% humidity
The NW wind has picked up a little today, 11mph.
Looks like occasional drizzle over the weekend for us but further north around Wiltshire and Oxfordshire looks like a lot of heavy rain tomorrow,

A neighbour but one is having this tree cut down today. They had to wait till end August as it had two wood pigeon nests in it.
Everyone will be glad when it goes, as it send leaves everywhere in the Autumn to neighbouring gardens.
We will get some of that lovely skyview back too.

Other than Tuesday, the fresher air has brought the best weather. Lovely sunshine all day and a high of 24C - perfect!

Similar here, clear air with excellent visibility and blue sky today with just a few cumulus. The maximum was 23.2C, basically the same as the last few days which shows that although pleasantly warm, the heat never really reached here even though it reached parts of Dorset.

It was a great evening for the Red Arrows down at Sidmouth, and a contrast to last year's where they could do almost nothing due to low cloud.

6 drops of rain on the patio earlier and now clearing up as the band forms further North, so it seems we're set for a bright, muggy day.

Getting fed up of being too far east OR too far west of everything. Yet again too far east as the intense area of rain cruised over Weymouth/ Dorchester AND the steam fair..
