One thing is for sure there will be no sea breeze with the gradient wind ESE gusting 30 mph.

It's windy here too. I'll be surprised if I manage 28°C today. There was no mention of this on the forecast. :(

The wind has abated quite considerable here in the last hour. Actually it's not unusual for Camborne to get an enhanced surface wind when it's from the ESE. We noticed this some years ago and we started to look into it because we suspected it had something to do with the hills upwind and a low level inversion. Didn't actually research it fully to arrive at a definitive answer.

Interesting. The wind is the same direction here, coming right off of Poole Harbour/backwaters. Bournemouth had 25°C yesterday, while I hit 28°C

Today, it is the other way around, Bournemouth is streaking ahead.

We are up to 24C which is quite warm for here so possibly looking at 26C. Quite warm enough for me as I'm not great in the heat

A good thing about today is that it will be cloudless from sunrise to sunset, which meant I could calibrate my solar sensor - first time I've been able to do it since I got it.

I'm good Db! - The wind has subsided a tiny bit, but the temperature has reacted to that, now at 27.7°C - 28.1°C to beat. :)

Local weather station is recording 32.9 Celsius. Our max was forecast 32 at 3-4pm. A very toasty day indeed.

Craving a cold beer and an ice lolly right now, but I will have to manage bathing under the office lights with light/moderate electric fan breezes until 4pm.

Reached 31.3c here. Certainly feels hot in the sun. Nice in the shade though with the breeze.

I was at 29.4°C - Needs more oomph. I haven't recorded a 30°C in the ten years i've had a station. I had 29.9°C in 2013, but i'm pedantic.

It really is dry air, very much like being on the continent, no humidity to make it uncomfortable yet although that may change once the wind drops and cloud moves in by sunset.

Thought it was going to touch 33c but it's begun to drop off again after hitting 32.9c lol .

There have been some very notable gusts of wind too, probably 40mph a few times!
