I can't believe how much rain I've recorded since yesterday evening. I didn't see that one coming! I'll post the final figure when the front clears, suffice to say, it'll end up more in the past 24hrs than the prior 19 days of June put together lol

Going much the same way here!

20.9mm in the 24 hours to 09.00 GMT here.  52mm total for June excluding this system, so heading for a wet one, especially if we see more storms later in the week.

At around 20mm since yesterday & still a good couple more hours before the rain clears.

Probable be around 12mm for today & just shy of 10mm yesterday, making June rather on the wet side - when it was looking like it was going to be a dry month.

The rain has finally ended, and now it's brightening up. I thought the total may have increased a bit more since my last post, but it was mainly light, drizzly stuff.

Ended up with 22.2mm faling in 24hrs. I was only expecting perhaps 10mm at a push.

Only a further 1.6mm after 09.00GMT yesterday, so 22.5 mm in total.

Similar scene here about 45 minutes after sunset, knocker.

Had a brief flirt of summer yesterday late afternoon/evening. Now back to autumn with grey skies and a bit breezy. The wait for summer proper continues...

Ha. Yep, nicely timed inbetween the end of work and the footy. Just managed to squeeze a bbq in.

still totally storm starved here.....a long shot, but I'm hoping WAA from Biscay tomorrow evening might just be far west enough for me to see some lightning from elevated storms

Some fairly good spells of sunshine, it did reach 20.1°C
I've just mowed the weeds, it felt very warm- was expecting the temp to be higher when I checked just now, but it has fallen.

Very wet morning this morning, glasto goers didn't look impressed parked all down A37 in pouring rain.

Played the radar feedback and it seems heaviest was over the mendip area including Glastonbury all morning so should be nice and muddy. I wonder if any downpours hit them later in week?

A distinct change in the weather today, as we move from not all that warm and grey; to slightly warmer, a bit more humid and grey.:angry::closedeyes:

Looks like this next round of stormy activity is going to miss us unfortunately. Very pleasant out here now after this mornings miserable weather. Feeling muggy too.

Ac just clearing from overhead now.

This is looking WNW, showing the western boundary.

and this is looking SW. Can't really judge the distance, but I'm wondering if the lump bottom left is the cell heading for Purbeck at the moment.

It's going to very close! I can see the outskirts of it now.
