Well this morning certainly has a different feel to yesterday which was chilly all day and cloudy, its nice for a bit of sunshine and warmer temps

Blue skies are back - yay! Already managed  6hrs of sunshine so far today.

Temp: 18.3°C - Hum: 57% - Bar: 1015.78hPa - Wind: E / ESE @ 4mph.

Feels more like 22/23c in the sun in our back garden which is a lovely sun trap on days like this.

Different season to yesterday - gorgeous weather since mid-morning with strong sunshine. Great to be outdoors in the warmth and low humidity.

It made it to 19.9°C today - 11.2.hrs of sunshine to boot. The garden is properly coming alive, pond lilypads really starting to go for it now. More days like today please!

Surprise surprise - no thunder storms, instead a couple of light showers and a lot of cloud.

Not a good start...... I fear the worst, no storms and cloudy all day

To be fair, I don't think thunderstorms were ever predicted last night, just a couple showers at best, which is pretty much what materialised. 

 

Though, it's predicted to be cloudy until 2pm here by the met office, but the fact there are already breaks in the cloud and the sun is showing its face, only bodes well for the rest of the day! Good luck all

I put money on the fact there will be no storms around here today.

Sunny with high cloud. It's feeling quite muggy despite the humidity not being particularly high.

Sunny here but cloud gathering  high up  cirrus and low Cumulus only 19c but was feeling humid ( which seems odd) when I went for a walk, t- shirt weather

Nah check Salisbury out, the cells are firing up to the SW & SE of there, and a line of cells is now strengthening nicely from Southampton across to Wells & Weston..

Anybody in Wells Shepton Mallet areas must be experiencing flash flooding I would think as a storm seems to have been over them for an age. Somebody earlier said Wales was the sweet spot today. I would say the other Somerset 'Wells' has proved good too.

The cloud slowly cleared during the day and now it's a cracking evening. All very pleasant.

I have just logged onto the radar for the first time in 4 hours and cannot believe what's been going on, talk about so near yet so far! Can see the edge of the storm cells to the NW but haven't heard any thunder, though I daresay I would have if I'd been paying attention the whole time.

Check out the beauty of a little cell which has recently fired near Bradford On Avon at the edge of the main cells.
