Thoroughly wet and miserable all day.  Heavy rain most of the afternoon and feeling considerably colder than the 14°C on the thermometer.

Torrential rain at the moment, you wouldn't think it going by the radar.

A good watering for the garden today! Finished up with 16.4mm, most of that fell between 2pm and 5:30pm. It was certainly more than I expected here.

Did not really get the forecast heavy rain here yesterday, 0.8 in the early hours and then 1mm of drizzly showers from about 2pm to 9pm
Was grey and cloudy all day yesterday, 14c mostly and a high of 17c around noon.

Lovely dry sunny day today, 16.6c

Torrential rain here, with hail thrown in for good measure. The second stoppage today is not helping my fence building efforts. 1 panel so far, is a poor show....20160522_153851.jpg

Edit - Big clap of thunder to my east after the cell passed over. Winchester should see some excitement in a bit.

Back out in the sunshine here.

A bit of a funny old day really! It seemed as though it wanted to piddle down, but it never quite made it. The sun made a nice appearance later this afternoon, pushing the temp up to 16.7°C.

You'll never know if you don't try! :)

The website side of things is all just trial and error for me.. I look up tutorials, ask folks on other weather forums for a bit of help or a few pointers.. I make sure I always have a second copy of whatever file i'm messing with, so that if I royally stuff it up, I know that I won't lose anything.

What  a lovely day yesterday, 16c to 17c for most of the day and 14c through the evening.
Did get a little cloudy during late morning, but brightened up nicely for the afternoon.
Very light WNW wind and 65% humidity yesterday.
Some mentioned there were a few showers 10 miles north during the morning yesterday, but was dry here.

Temp from midnight dropped from 12c to 9c at 4am and then rose again. A 85-93% humidity reading overnight.
Lovely blue skies this morning, 12.3c, 8mph NW wind, 1017.3 hPa, 73% humidity.

My relatively new sensor has decided to stop working altogether! So am in the process of trying to get a replacement and getting frustrated at not knowing the temperature.

Besides that we are into the 3rd mostly fine day in a row, although both Sunday and yesterday had a heavy afternoon shower that filled the sandwiched of plenty of sunshine.

This morning can be described as 'autumnal'. Cloudy and distinctly chilly. Fortunately it's just a blip.

I'm not to be quoted obviously. :)

According to this morning's ecm Saturday cloudy with light outbreaks of rain. Sunday and Monday dry with a light NE wind and cloud variable.

And the fax for Sat and Sun.

Here this morning partly cloudy with Ci, Ac and Cu. Temp 10C and an easterly breeze.

I'm an interested weather observer, although not a forecaster myself.
The better half and I are off to Jersey for 5 days from this Sunday. Could anyone give me an idea of how the forecast is panning out for next week?

Many thanks

Well at the moment Tues/Weds look a bit dodgy regarding rain moving in from the east but after that reasonable but I must emphasis the evolution is by no means a done deal so just treat this as this morning's outlook courtesy the ecm. It would be wise to look at the Jersey site over the weekend. Enjoy your break.

Significantly cooler day today. Quite grey too. However good thing it seems like just a blip - temperatures creeping up to 21-23c by the end of the week for me with a mix of sunshine and thundery showers. :)
