South West & CS England Weather Discussion Spring 2016 (26th March ------->)

Cloudy with Ac/As. With frontal systems just to west rain is not far away. Temp 8C and a southerly breeze.

Lovely day yesterday, 14c for most of the day, but that chilly NW wind made it feel a lot colder.
Did have a little drizzle around 5-6pm, got very dark, registered 0.2mm. Put the patio table cover up and all was well, brightened up nicely after that for a pleasant evening outside, wind died down to nothing and temp was 10c for rest of the evening.

Started well today, lovely blue skies with some low light cloud. Not sure what that sort of cloud it is called, but makes some interesting patterns.
Down to 3.5c at 5am and now 10.7c
Wind, SW and only 2-3mph, feels so much warmer out already, no chill
1029.1 hPa, humidity up to 71% after some lows yesterday afternoon of 40%

not been in for a while, a frosty start which has given way to a little rain.

Rain now ceased, Sheet of St, temp 11C and a SW breeze.

Cloudy with a sheet of St. recent fog now mist. Mild with temp 10C and a brisk wind from the SSW.

Turned out to be a dry day yesterday, 11c morning and evening, with the mid day hours seeing a few degrees  in temp rise reaching 13.9c.
A SW wind yesterday, 8-14mph.

A warm night, lowest was 10.6c at midnight
A little rain around 1am, 0,2mm
Now 11c, wind still SW 6mph, paper white sky.
Humidity has been at 95% since 1am, started rsing from 60% about 4pm yesterday.
1022.6 hPa

Rain so far this year 317mm
Jan = 148.8mm
Feb = 46.6mm
Mar = 72.8mm
Apr = 48.6mm

May = 0.2mm so far.

Autumnal is the best word to describe today, and a chilly night to follow. Looks better tomorrow onwards though.

Friday onwards paints a warm and unsettled picture, not without interest at all. May could well be a very wet, thundery and quite warm month if cyclonic southerly/southeasterly scenarios play out persistently.

A 3 degree drop in temp between 12-13 to 8.5C and now clear skies, temp of 11z and a gusty 20mph wind from the west.

Was meant to share this the other night, the night time skies was some of the clearest ive ever seen, could even see the milkyway really clearly too it was great!

 

Anyways as for this weekend, bring on the Warmth! Looking potentially thundery too which is worth keeping an eye on for sure!

Pleasant dry day yesterday, but cloudy all day, 12 to 13c, 8mph SW winds kept the wind chill off.

Lovely clear blue skies this morning, 4.8c at 5am, now 7.5c, very light WNW wind, 1025.6 hPa, humidity still 90%

Some sunny spells, mostly cloudy though. The temps are a little on the disappointing side, and windy at times.

Looks like the start of a long period of dry warmer weather and warmer nights.
Will have to start the garden hose routine every day now.

Looking forward to some warmth, I had a week in Italy (near Naples) 2 weeks back which was very warm and came back to the cool air so this will really be lovely once it kicks in. 

 

Time to get the garden furniture out.
