Sleet, snow, rain!
Did not see any of that here yesterday, was a pretty good day, got cloudy and quite grey at times.
Someone mentioned up the road from us they had a couple of hail showers, but I saw none of that.
Looking at my weather station, no rain here since Sunday, except a small shower that registered as our first rain of the week, just 0.2mm around 2am this morning.
12c yesterday after 3c the night before. Yesterday the wind was still NW, but light.

Did get a slight frost this morning, temp of 1.3c at 5am.
Today wind has changed to WSW and was very light, but picked up a little this afternoon to 10-12mph
After the wipe away frost, blue skies all day long, 10.5 - 11c  for most of the day and 10.7c now, 1013.7 hPa

A moderate sleet shower just rolled through here! Quite incredible for late April!

Not too sure how close we are to the cold front but a layer of As and some quite large Cu at the moment. Recent rain shower, Temp 7C and a westerly breeze.

Yesterday turned out dry, but temps only 10-12c with a W to SW wind 8mph, but picked up later in the evening to 15-18mph with some 20-25mph gusts.

Lovely morning here, got down to 6.3c at 6am
Now 8c, blue skies with slight cloud cover in places.
WSW wind 12mph, 1011.6 hPa

Woken up by really heavy rain on the roof at about 6am, probably from the train of showers rattling off the Severn Estuary before they took a more southerly track. Been sunny and clear since with distant cbs to the south and west.

Just had a brief light sleet shower here!

Such odd weather today. Within the matter of 2 miles I drove through bright sunshine, torrential hail, a brief downburst of sleet and through the other side into bone dry with sunshine. Some of these showers are really isolated!

Not too bad again today, breezy, but no showers here. This period of weather has turned out OK for doing work in the garden.

Pleasant morning with a small amount of Cu. Temp 7C and a light northerly.

Yesterday was a generally a dry day but only 10-11c, with a cold WSW wind 15-23mph, with some 30mph gusts.
A welcome bit of rain between 4:30pm - 6:30pm, 5.4mm. After a dry week, nice to have the rain for the garden, was expecting to get the hose out today. May just be the watering can now.
That rain shower yesterday, the temp dropped from 11c to 7c very quickly and once rain stopped back up to 10c and humidity took a big rise from 60 to 85. So fascinating sometimes to watch the records.

Today, a very slight hint of a frost, just visible on the fence tops and some roofs,
Did get down to 2.3c early morning, only 4c. Wind NW and 3mph, 1020.3 hPa, humidity is high today at 85%.
Will be getting the maincrop potato crop in today, so the weather looks good for it, dry during the day and some showers to give them a treat and embed them in later on.
Perfect clear blue skies too this morning, not a cloud anywhere;

Interesting.. I just broke my all time record for low humidity, 26%

Feeling gorgeous in the sunshine.

Insane hailstorm causing flooding between Trowbridge and Westbury an hour or so ago and I daresay more in the Chippenham to Devizes area now judging by the radar.

Where has all this energy come from under a ridge of HIGH pressure?

Another cold one last night with a min of -2.1C this morning (after -2.7C on Thursday).

Those Beech leaves on my neighbours hedge that I posted pictures of coated in frost on Thursday morning didn't fare too well...

Not seen too much other damage though thankfully.

Today, some high cloud for a bit but a lovely day with clear air and lots of sunshine - quite dry too for here with a low humidity of 36%.

Down to 1.2C now though so probably another air frost tonight.
