snow flurrys coming and going last hour or so but according to the radar a mega nasty storm has developed in the south. :rofl: I think it has broken as is always the case when snow is around.

This nasty old thing looks like an impact crater with ejecta being thrown in all directions. :D

There's been some good sunny spells today, doing some building in the garden, so I'm working up a sweat. A few showers have crept in now, nothing heavy, but there was a bit of slush mixed in.

Temp: 7.7°C - Hum: 56% - Dew: -0.6°C  - Bar: 1010.94hPa - Wind: NNW @ 10mph, gusting to 25mph at times.

One wonders if the showers will get a bit more wintry as the sun starts to set. I would assume the window is short as the sun obviously drives the formation of the showers.

Missing everything here, which is good! It would have made a mess of everything after the work i've done.  dance.gif

There's some lovely cloudscapes going on, regular mammatus and fallstreak towards Poole, Bournemouth and Swanage.

You should view my webcam, Poole/Bournemouth is getting hammered!

I've got a timelapse running for today as well, that should be interesting. :)

Thunder, hail, sleet, rain & snow all present here within the last hour.

The shower cells are very small, you can see the boundary all around them.  There are just so many though making it a fascinating day of convective meteorology.

Really is one of the best days this year weather wise.  I can't remember the last time I saw snow falling so late in the season.

There's another smaller cell following it up now...

Amazing cell that cruises through like a battleship, with 1p sized hail and a snowfest for a good 15-20mins.  All followed up with a great display of mammatus.  Mapantz I'd love to see your time lapse of this one.

Took this snap from Brill as it looked quite spectacular with the naked eye looking over towards Oxford/Didcot way. Anyone here know what the weather was producing underneath please? :)
