Looks interesting for the SW and Wales this PM..

Certainly is, can't wait to get some more torrential rain and hopefully some hail and/or thunder!

Looks like plain old rain at the mo, not sure if it's supposed to pep up as it hits land.

Well the first line of rain caused pandemonium in the local area with plenty of flooding and the streets being converted to streams. A good 5.2mm of rainfall, now waiting for part 2..

Well that turned out to be wetter than I thought?! 6.4mm has fallen.

It's a shame that thunderstorm died out before you, I was getting annoyed that everywhere else except here kept getting thunder.

Anyway, another showery day here as 2 bands of heavy rain passed through. No thunder though unfortunately. High Rainfall Rate: 26.4 mm/hr at 16:13 Rainfall Today: 4.0 mm.

Heavy showers first thing this morning, including another very wet drive to work. Cleared through now though with some sunshine. I'm thinking high cloud from the south may scupper optimum convective opportunities this afternoon.

One of the best rainbows I've ever seen, it's fading now, but you can still see it on my webcam.

Heard the first thunder of the year this afternoon when a potent and slow moving shower passed to the south of us around 15.45.  No rain here, but plenty to the south.
