It does look like autumn, damp and misty as weirpig said, but there is still a mugginess, also have a headache which usually occurs when a storm is ahead, maybe later.

Pelting down with rain here in Malvern. Heard a distant rumble of thunder, but from the lightning map it looks like most of the action is further to the east of us, but even so, very heavy rain right now.

Just had a short heavy shower here, the only one in the whole area when I looked at the radar. No thunder heard though; this August  now looks very likely to be the first one without thunder here since 1995.

Very pleasant today, variable cloud but more sunshine than cloud, in fact not a bad bank holiday if you ask me with wall to wall sunshine for my neck of the woods come tomorrow and the rest of the week set fair with plenty of warm sunshine.....just a shame were back to work.

Looking like that'll fizzle out by the time that cold front reaches us over the midlands...brighter afternoon it looks like ATM..... Tomorrow's :D:D:D

Absolutly beautiful 2nd half of summer, just the odd day of rain but not much except for saturday when a brief thunderstorm passed, looks like its going to continue in this same pattern for a while.

Makes a change August being the best of the summer months here, plenty of warm sunny weekdays unfortunately the weekends all year have been poor bar one.

Looked outside earlier and must admit there seemed to be an odd almost eerie light outside, weird.

Well after what seems like years of trying i'm finally leaving sunny Shropshire and starting a new job overseas near Madrid later this month :D

Going from 1300 hours of sun a year to 2800 will be quite the pleasant shock!

It's remarkably warm outside this evening. 18.8c according to the Davis on the roof mast, that's slightly higher than the average maximum temp' in July here.
