Disappointingly dull overcast day, the cloud cover didn't break at all. Still pleasantly warm though.

Hello,

Only a few glimpses of clear sky Sunshine throughout today, cloud broke well a couple of hours ago here in north Coventry, but  too late for any penetrating warmth, so much so, that our central heating kicked in at 8.30 this evening, for its last half an hour of water heating, our hall thermostat set at 12.5c. We had drizzle several times earlier in the day. A visit to Fosse Park in Leicester before noon it was totally overcast.

Good night all

Looks as though the weather should be okay for anyone who may be doing the Great Midlands fun run today in Sutton Coldfield. Having said that, it is still cloudy at the moment, but hoping the slate gray skies will give up the ghost and let some brighter conditions to break through.

After a cloudy night here thick Fog formed in the early hours and is slowly starting to burn off, Buxton a few miles to my North seems to have cleared. Temp 11c.

Last remnants of murk cleared by 11am, now 22C and almost cloudless. Not a bad start to June at all, apart from yesterday's cloudiest.

bit later here 11.45, good effort for Stafford

Max out at 23c here in solihull, the northwest of our region was the better place to be when it came to temperatures today.

Pretty much the same tomorrow except the sun will be out from the start waving-good-afternoon-sun-smiley-emotico

Bar the very unlikely prospect of a shower tonight, today will be the 11th consecutive day without measurable rainfall here.

We are on the 15th day without rain. The ground is now very dry. Goes back a few years since we went without rain like this.
