ClimeMet CM 2000

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I was bought one of these for my birthday in 2014 and i've been very happy with it. The rainfall gauge broke within 2 months but they replace it no bother. However for some reason it's recorded a -40c indoor temperature and one other anomaly, does anyone know if you can delete individual results? Being quite OCD that result annoys me when I look at the high/low records.... grrrr

I don't know much about the console of the CM2000, but I do know you can connect to it via EasyWeather software, in which case, you should be able to delete/change items. Is this a record you want to remove? Or a simple a rogue reading in a whole data set?

Hiya, thanks for getting back, yes its actually three rogue readings which affect the records. I have the easyweather software but I can't find how to delete these readings without of course deleting 2 years worth of recordings.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall. It doesn't rain very often here like other desert areas, but like the deadly floods in Libya last year showed, these rain events are likely becoming more extreme due to global warming.
