Getting lot's of cumulus cloud today, just seem to be arriving bigger as the day goes on. First one with a few drops in now. Looks good enough to be called an lp. Not sure if we'll get anything thundery though. Just the normal april shower stuff.

Urgh.. Reading the MOD thread the desperation and anticipation of wanting it to snow this week is making me want to throw up. It's The end of April..... Get a Grip!!!

Back to reality, felt pleasant in the sunshine today, stayed dry all day. Arctic blast Meto/BBC? What Arctic blast?

The GFS 12z says good bye to the colder air come May with better prospects, still no real warmth though, hopefully that will change!!

Pretty chilly today with a few showers, not overly heavy and just rain. Given the breeze hasn't been too strong away from the showers then it hasn't felt too bad.

Had several more very light showers here, has felt rather chilly to be honest while the sun is covered by cloud though, milder when the suns out though. High of 9.2, so quite a bit off of recent temps, but certainly not cold. Temps did drop a few degrees during showers.

We had a shower of what I call 'spring hail'...something too soft to be summer hail but too hard to be graupel.

Those charts were about as accurate all winter as 'my lottery numbers each week" = Nada

Just back from an evening run and I can almost put money on it that nothing other than rain will fall from the sky.

Roll on May and some warmth

I gather everyone is asleep; radar is depicting a wintry mix for the bulk of east anglia, early risers may see some wet snow flakes!

I've signed in properly now! Yes, sleet - i.e. white when falling but not settling.

Cold! Yucky vile weather this morning, I can see the clear skies to the north moving closer though which is promising.
